The thought is always to stay to the right of the yellow line. Keep an eye on the road and a steady hand on the wheel. When a focus is only in one direction can take away the wonders of the world.
You can miss so much when you are the driver. As in the game of golf the driver is used to drive the ball down the fairway (hopefully) in a very straight line towards the green. If this happens you will have a very good opportunity to make PAR and your score will be better. If you stray off the fairway and into the rough or the woods or heaven forbit the sand trap you have created the chance of increasing your score and having a bad game.
So, what is this score? Is it a personal goal or something that is created by another to focus you on achievement? What do you gain when you achieve that score? Personal satisfaction?
Again I ask why is it personal satisfaction, you did not set that goal, you just achieved someone else’s expectation for achievement. You stayed on the right side of the yellow line.
so, if you leave the fairway make it an adventure and take something away from the experience.
Continue to drive on the right side. Just take the occasion to pulling on the shoulder to look around and see the world.
Stay focused by opening wide.
