Stay to the right of the yellow line.

The thought is always to stay to the right of the yellow line. Keep an eye on the road and a steady hand on the wheel. When a focus is only in one direction can take away the wonders of the world.

You can miss so much when you are the driver. As in the game of golf the driver is used to drive the ball down the fairway (hopefully) in a very straight line towards the green. If this happens you will have a very good opportunity to make PAR and your score will be better. If you stray off the fairway and into the rough or the woods or heaven forbit the sand trap you have created the chance of increasing your score and having a bad game.

So, what is this score? Is it a personal goal or something that is created by another to focus you on achievement? What do you gain when you achieve that score? Personal satisfaction?

Again I ask why is it personal satisfaction, you did not set that goal, you just achieved someone else’s expectation for achievement. You stayed on the right side of the yellow line.

so, if you leave the fairway make it an adventure and take something away from the experience.

Continue to drive on the right side. Just take the occasion to pulling on the shoulder to look around and see the world.

Stay focused by opening wide.

Where is it?

Mistakes, miscalulations, misconceptions, misunderstandings they’re all missing something.

They all have an area of doubt, vacancy, error or the DUH factor.

They all admit to something. Whatever that something may be. And it is almost always missing. Not there. Gone. Never to be found – just admitted to.

Mis’d

In the last blog I missed a what and typed it a want. Ooops there it is a creation of a mis?.

Where to?

So, he said where to?

And I answered I want to go down the road.

Down the road to where?

To an adventure of life. And want a day can be. Just, four wheels turning and a motor humming . Creating excitement.

What makes you think the road can create something like that?

Well, my life has always been something of a road traveled, something new everyday. When I wake up I really do not know what I will experience or what will happen. I just realize another new day and another new opportunity beginning fresh. I will admit that some days are stale and just drag over from the one before. It’s almost like you never sleep just blend it all together.

So, he says again, Where to?

I tell him, let’s just start going. We’ll know where to when I open my eyes and feel the excitement. I’ll know when we are there later.

Start the adventure.

Going forward

Some say that going forward is always a good direction in life. I agree! Now, let’s not forget that going back isn’t bad either. Let’s take the conversation I had with my Cousin Dave today. We were talking on the phone and got to mentioning some things we remembered from when we were growing up. These memories brought a big smile to my face and painted a picture of a happy time in my mind. So, I guess that going forward is a good thing and planning to get there is great also. Just remember – there are many things that get us there and this is where we come from. Think about a memory – bring up the picture and have a smile on me …. 🙂 ….. Did you do it?

Great Thanks…

My first entry onto this page is a Thank You to Matt for it’s creation.

And to David for having a great friend.
